While Los Angeles might be best known for its entertainment industry and glorious weather, now's the perfect time to recognize some of the fine-dining selections the City of Angels has to offer. Starting July 18 – and spanning over 14 days - dineL.A.'s Restaurant Week is an event that showcases some of the best culinary offerings you can find in the big city. According to OpenTable, a variety of top restaurants will be participating to offer specially priced prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus for local and traveling food enthusiasts alike. Regardless of if you're an LA native or you're an out-of-town foodie, it's not too late to plan your trip to indulge in the finer things Restaurant Week has to offer.
Here are a few of the restaurants we recommend keeping your eye on during your food frenzy:
1. 10e Restaurant (Lunch: $24, Dinner: $39)
For those craving Mediterranean, head to 10e Restaurant, located in the Fine Arts Building in downtown LA. This Lebanese restaurant offers an unmatched atmosphere, with high ceilings and incredible light fixtures that truly set a remarkable ambiance. The menu consists of recipes that use spices like cumin, caraway and cardamom, as well as fresh garlic and parsley to create authentic, cultural meals for LA diners.
During Restaurant Week, you'll receive a set menu to choose between a few of 10e's most enticing dish. For lunch, start with the Eggplant Dolmas , which consists of roasted eggplant braised in balsamic walnut dressing and served with garlic yogurt, pinenuts and pomegranate. For your main dish, consider the Two Way Kebab, which pairs a chicken breast skewer beside a beef and lamb meat skewer, accompanied by Armenian pilaf and vermicelli.

While A Food Affair doesn't offer alcoholic beverages, your taste buds will be tantalized by the incredible organic mocktails it has to offer.
This spot is only offering Restaurant Week specials during dinner, so make sure to manage your time wisely. For your first course, try the Fig and Prosciutto, served with an arugula salad, gorgonzola and a port wine reduction. Then, consider the Braised Australian Lamb Shank with feta, fava beans, bell peppers and fresh mint for your second course. Finally, finish your experience with the Tahitian Vanilla Crème Brulee.
3. Café Gratitude Venice (Lunch: $20, Dinner: $29)
For a clean-eating, vegan experience during Restaurant Week, dine at Café Gratitude in Venice. This spot offers 100 percent organic and plant-based cuisine while keeping health, sustainability and full flavors in mind. You'll enjoy only the freshest and finest organic ingredients in each and every dish to fuel a healthy body while honoring the earth.

For your lunch appetizer, choose between two dishes: Brilliant or Celebrating. Brilliant is a young coconut and summer squash ceviche with roasted tomatillo sauce, coconut, bacon, avocado and baked tortilla chips. Celebrating is a collard spring roll made of daikon, wakame, avocado, pickled vegetables and a sesame wasabi dipping sauce. Next, choose between three entrée choices: Festive, Kansha and Bountiful. We recommend Festive, which consists of seasoned pinto beans, tempeh chorizo sausage, chopped escabeche, guacamole, pico de gallo and house baked tortilla chips.
If you plan on heading to Café Gratitude for dinner, start with Present, the grilled summer bruschetta appetizer loaded with heirloom tomatoes, basil hempseed pesto, arugula, cashew mozzarella and a golden balsamic reduction. For your entrée, consider trying Fearless, as it's a dineL.A. exclusive. This dish consists of baked eggplant tempeh polpette, orange scented meatballs, rustic marinara, wild arugula, cashew ricotta and grilled balsamic radicchio. But don't forget to finish with a vegan treat – try Surrendering, a dish that consists of a gluten-free brownie served with vanilla coconut cashew ice cream, cashew cream, chocolate sauce and powdered sugar.
